The most important tips for secure Online-Banking:

F Use the latest Internet browser.

F Keep your PC operating system current with the latest updates and use an up-to-date virus scanner.

F Neither the bank nor the service hotline will ask you for your password in connection with your login or the next TAN. If this happens in spite of this, please do not provide information for security reasons, since this is most certainly not a call from the bank.

F Be sceptical and alert, and verify which links you click on, and which Internet pages you are visiting. Under no circumstances should you provide your access information or TANs in pages linked in e-mails. These are most certainly phishing e-mails.

F The bank will never ask you on its website to enter your login and password in connection with TAN numbers for verification purposes.

F Accurately verify the sender of e-mails, since even small variations in the address can indicate falsified Internet pages.

F Use passwords that are difficult to guess, which contain special characters, numbers, upper and lower case letters. Change your password at irregular intervals!

F Never leave your access information and TAN letters out in the open, and never save your PIN and TAN on your hard disc or other storage media of your PC.

F It is best to not conduct your banking transactions from public PCs (such as Internet cafés).

F Always log off properly from Online-Banking (especially on public PCs).

You have access to our Service Hotline at +49 (0)69 24 0011 414 from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the landline rate (except on statutory holidays in Hesse and on 06/01, 15/08 and 01/11).
